The game of soccer is constantly evolving, which means coach education must be continuous to ensure that our players continue to receive the most up to date information to help them to continue to develop and be the best they can possible be.
MHYSC will offer a wide range of in-house coach education throughout the year. This will include classroom sessions (In person or online), on field sessions which will include delivery of sessions from our Club’s Technical Director as well as the opportunity for club coaches to deliver sessions and receive feedback from other MHYSC coaches. In-house coach education will be led by the Club’s Technical Director with special guest coaches delivering sessions throughout the year.
All MHYSC coaches will be encouraged to enter Canada Soccer’s Licensing stream. While participating in the Licensing stream all coaches will receive support in planning and designing sessions, on field mentorship and live feedback as well as 1 on 1 feedback sessions after the coach has had the opportunity to reflect. Coaches will be supported with Individual Coach Development plans that will be created by the individual coach with direct support from the Clubs Technical Director.
